Sex Pistols Reunion Gig

Well I managed to get tickets to the hottest gig of the year (screw led Zep) - for the second date of a 3 night set! On the downside (or upside) I accidentally bought 6 tickets - at least thats what my confirmation emails say. On Ebay they are already going for £150 per pair (or £500 for one optimistic seller), which is bent cos it's gonna be full of celebrities and corporate whores rather than proper fans. Needless to say I will be pimping my spares at face value.

My only concern is that even i won't feel like a proper fan as I'm just not old enough - but I feel like a proper Damned fan and the older fans are always cool anyway. Plus i'm hardly 14 or anything.

Still - its going to be an EVENT!

The visit of Joe and Jo included a trek to the beach, as it was a gorgeous day (pictured). Once we got the the beach there was so much mist we could barely see each other. I did piss about in a dingy for several hours though until I felt sick. Thats twice I've been in the sea this year!

A nice post work ride with Zoe from ILS, during which my front hub cones worked loose and my wheel wobbled around like crazy. Since then I have learned how to service the hub (and in the process dropped all my bearings down the sink).

This weekend has seen the Swansea Bay airshow - which is convenient as I don't have to leave my sofa(s) to watch it! These Red Arrows shots were all taken out of my front room window. The Eurofighter was cool too.

Museum Reconstruction Day 4

Nearly there! This has been a long, tough process, involving some very late nights (3AM), but it is nearly done. Just got to figure out how many '95+ carded figs I can get on the wall now. Stay tuned for the next instalment - hopefully with a better camera!

In the middle of the process - moving stuff into the room and trying to find space to put everything! Its tricky. Some nice new Ikea glass shelved display units though...
