AIG - clearning up the confusion

This seems to have caused some consternation amongst the uninitiated.

There is no link whatsoever between AIG and a large American conglomerate.

AIG simply means Andy is Gay. Well - he is.

So now you know.

AIG everyone

Download 2006

Off to Download to see Metallica (and some others) in June, then for a short break somewhere in the South of England. Once I've sorted out getting there, whihc is made more difficult because I can only travel Friday Morning. Oh Joy!

Bands I hope to catch so far - if only to confirm they are shite:

Backyard Babies
Opeth
Killing Joke
Fishbone
Reuben (who?)
Dragonforce
Cathedral
Sevendust
Get cape, wear cape, fly (if only for the name)
Alice in Chains
Guns n Roses (well Rose, anyway, with a lack of Guns 'n')
Tool
Throwdown

Rumours were of Motley Crue - but looks like that will not be happening :-(

Weekend at Matt's

Shortly off for a weekend of Male bonding with Matt, Mart and AIG. Cath also coming but is less male.

Andy likes some male bonding..... Hampshire.

Charlie's Deli

Arrghghh Charlie's has closed down! NOOOOOOOOO...!!!

Gutted. I need a new cheese supplier.

No idea what happened. Simon close to refurb and 3 months later it has shut down.

The end of an era

Arsenal: European Champions in waiting

Well after many tense months and matches - most of the 1-0(!) we are nearly there. After Toure's scrambled goal in the first leg at Highbury, a terrible game but a superb (if at times desperate), defensive display ensured Arsenal progressed to meet Barca in the final. All summed up with Lehmann's brilliant save in the 88th minute from Riquelme's penalty (which was NEVER a penalty). Gael Clichy came on early for Flamini, who injured his hamstring, and put in a blinding performace, his first senior game since November. Gilberto and Ljungberg also played well in a defensive roll, but attacking and passing were poor, enabliung Villareal to lay siege to Lehmann's goal. Fortunately they have Forlan.

Arsenal for the cup!
