Well they say practice makes perfect - in my case practice makes moderately less bad.

Still I have had a productive evening and have just about mastered some Clash songs:

White Man in Hammersmith Palais (I've just about got the intro now)
London Calling - easier than I have thought for the past 3 years!
White Riot (once I'd taken out a few unnecessary notes)
Should I stay..... - although the chorus is a bit tricky and my bass isn't fond of high notes.
